Overall Objective /Goal: To contribute towards an inclusive environment where persons with disabilities enjoy improved quality of life.
Specific Objective/Purpose:
Improve quality of disability inclusive development good practice in Bangladesh based on the new CBR Guidelines and its value so that it can be applied as a strategy to contribute towards achievement of MDGs and the implementation of the CRPD.
Project stakeholders and actors: Persons with disabilities and their families; CDD (as key implementing agency); JPUF (as key Government agency supporting the project); NFOWD (as the associate partner); CBM; CBR Working Group; Local NGOs and DPOs (as technical/training partners); Self-help Groups (SHGs); Union Parishad/Pouroshava/City Corporation (Local Government departments/offices); Different ministries and departments of the Government; District Disability Welfare Committee; Technical Resource Organizations; Media.
