Gender Responsive Approach to Women Human Rights and Economic Empowerment

The Gender Responsive Approach to Women Human Rights and Economic Empowerment (GRAWHREE) Project as a partner of USHA-Unity for Social and Human Action  funded by Manusher Jonno Foundation in 34 villages of 2 unions named Fazilpur & Sundarban of Dinajpur Sadar Upazilla under Dinajpur district, aiming to develop women entrepreneurs for economic empowerment; to create women friendly enabling environment in the society; to establish women human rights; to reduce any form of violence against women. To achieve this target GRAWHREE Project sets 3 strategic objectives focusing on measurable reduction of different forms of violence and creating their better access to the quality services and resources; enhanced income opportunities of the poor and vulnerable women by helping them to establish small scale entrepreneurship and escalating their capabilities; and formulating/establishing gender friendly micro credit system within the organization.
