Youth Leadership and Civic Engagement:
Developing inclusive leadership pathways for marginalized youth, fostering civic participation, and supporting youth-led advocacy and accountability initiatives: The program focuses on developing inclusive leadership pathways for marginalized youth, particularly from Dalit, Adivasi, and other excluded communities, enabling them to become active citizens and agents of change. It provides structured capacity-building opportunities, including leadership training, mentorship, and exposure visits, to enhance youth skills in communication, advocacy, problem-solving, and collective action. The program fosters civic participation by creating platforms for youth to engage with local government institutions, participate in community decision-making processes, and contribute to development planning. Youth-led advocacy and accountability initiatives are supported through small grants, technical guidance, and linkage with CSOs and government bodies, empowering young leaders to raise issues such as discrimination, access to services, and social justice. By strengthening youth networks and inter-generational dialogue, the program ensures that marginalized voices are included in local governance and that young people are recognized as legitimate stakeholders in shaping their communities' future.
