A high-level delegation comprising representatives from the Delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh, Christian Aid Bangladesh, and Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) visited the Dalit Youth for Dignity (DYD) Project activities of JSKS on 27 May 2025 in Dinajpur Sadar Upazila.

The visit began with field-level engagements where the delegation observed ongoing interventions under the DYD Project. At Jalsa Para, the delegation interacted directly with Dalit youth groups who shared their experiences, aspirations, and the positive changes they have witnessed as a result of the project’s initiatives. The delegation also participated in a vibrant cultural event at Matasagar Vatpara, Sheikhpura Union, organized by the local community. The cultural program highlighted Adivasi traditions and heritage while also reflecting the empowerment and confidence the youth have gained through capacity-building activities.

This visit provided an important opportunity for the delegation to observe first-hand the project’s role in promoting dignity, leadership, rights awareness, and social inclusion of Dalit youth. Through engaging directly with beneficiaries, the team gained valuable insights into both the challenges faced by marginalized communities and the progress achieved through collective efforts led by JSKS and its partners.
